DPS Products
We have software solutions for rural water districts and small cities. All
software is customer written and enhanced by our programming staff. Shown
below is a brief description of each program:
Utility Billing Program
This program can be used for any rural water district or city that has an
employee read the customers' water meter and then sends the customers a
statement. The system has the ability to bill for water, sewer, trash,
primacy, sales tax, arrears, credit, and misc. The system also has the
ability to generate Work Orders with all work orders being online for
immediate recall. Various management reports are included as part of this
program. This program is available in a single user version and a multi
user version.
We also have two additional "add on" modules that can be
purchased as a supplement to this program. They are:
- Auto-Pay Module. This module allows the customers
to have their bill paid each month by "automatically
deducting" the amount due from their bank account.
- Hand Held Interface Module. This module is used to
exchange customer data with various manufacturers of Radio Read
Equipment. It allows the Utility Billing Program to generate output of
customer data that can be read into the Radio Read Equipment, thus
eliminating the need to manually read and input meter readings.
Self Utility Billing Program:
This program can be used for any rural water district or city where the
customer reads the meter, calculates his bill, and sends in the reading and
payment. The program verifies that the amount paid is correct. Various management
reports are included as a part of this program.
Fund Accounting Program:
This is a double entry General Ledger Accounting Program. All customary
management reports are included as part of this program. The program can be
purchased without having any of our other programs.
Tax Billing Program:
This program can be used by any city that bills their customers for Real
Estate and Personal Property Taxes. Each customer is sent a statement for
Real Estate Taxes and a statement for Personal Property Taxes. Various
management reports are included as a part of this program. . This program
is available in a single user version and a multi user version.
Technical Support:
Our highly qualified technical support staff supports all software programs
provided by DPS. All customers that have our "Maintenance &
Support" not only get their questions answered promptly and accurately
but they also get all program enhancements that are released. This ensures
that our customers are on the later version of the software. Most of the
program enhancements are a result of our customers making suggestions to
the software.
